Administration Talks "Democracy"

While they take steps almost daily to suppress democracy in the US and in client states around the world, Bush administration officials are yammering a lot lately about establishing democracy in the Middle East. (See The Washington Post)

I guess it sounds like a better excuse for going to war than control of fuel resources and domination of the Middle East. Anyone who believes any of this talk, please raise an appropriate limb.
