Coincidence?

I read once that Hermes, whom the Romans called Mercury, was the messenger of the gods, and often when strange coincidences occurred that seemed to have some significance, it was said that was the presence of Hermes, the messenger. In that sense, what Jung called Synchronicity, the meaningful coincidence, would be a message.

In any case, when I see a random juxtaposition of things that seems to have meaning, it often seems like a message. Whether anyone is sending it or not, I am getting a message.

There was a peculiar coincidence today that caught my attention. In my e-mail in-box two messages looked like this, one on top of the other. I take no credit for this. This was merely chance, or shall we say fortune?
